From Farmer to Chef

Take your taste buds on a culinary adventure!

Tour the Stratford Farmer’s Market 7 am – noon or St. Mary’s Market 8 am – noon.
Dine in one of our restaurants who source ingredients locally or get right close to our county farmers and food artisans, who open their doors to the public on Saturdays noon until 4 pm.

We are offering three Summer Epicurean Treks on Saturdays in July and August – Savour the Country Side, Rural Market Sampler and the Traditional Artisan Trek. Sample elk sausage, organic pork, Mennonite baked pies, and fresh sheep milk cheese. Taste Aunt Hilda’s mustards, local chutney and hand-rolled chocolates. Download the map and look for the “Buy Local Buy Fresh” signs to identify locations. Don’t forget your insulated shopping bag and take a taste of Perth County home to savour or share with friends!
